Two teens have been charged with shooting a 19-year-old Jersey City man in the head last month, The Jersey Journal reports .

Abbas Yousaf, of Bayonne, and Rossman Agbanlog, of Jersey City, both 18, have been charged with the attempted murder of Matthew Bolger.

The two men appeared in Central Judicial Processing court yesterday afternoon via video link from Hudson County jail, while each of their attorneys appeared in court on their behalf.

According police sources, Bolger was shot in the head on Garabrant Street near Johnston Avenue on Oct. 10 during a botched robbery.

Bolger remained in critical condition for several weeks before being upgraded to guarded on Oct. 29. Yesterday, a hospital spokesman said Bolger was still listed in guarded condition, but his condition is continuing to improve.

Bail was not be set during yesterday afternoon’s initial hearing and was to be set by a Superior Court judge.

A Hudson County corrections employee in the Record Department at the county jail in Kearny said Yousaf and Agbanlog were brought in at about 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

Both teens are charged with criminal attempted murderunlawful possession of a handgunpossession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and robbery by force.

Bolger graduated from Hudson Catholic and played baseball for several teams.

Friends have organized a fundraising page to help the family with medical costs, and organized other fundraisers.
