Karim Arzadi


Mr. Arzadi graduated from the City University of New York in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in political science. He attended South Texas School of law and received his Juris Doctorate in 1985.

Mr. Arzadi has been practicing law for 30 years concentrating on winning fair compensation for those injured due to the negligence, carelessness and recklessness of third parties.

He is the founder of the Law Offices of Karim Arzadi which has been providing legal advice and representation to its clients with an emphasis in plaintiff’s personal injury claims and workers compensation claims.

Mr. Arzadi was admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey and New York and welcome the opportunity to represent you in personal injury actions in New Jersey or New York.

In addition he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court – District of New Jersey, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and is an Attorney and Counselor of the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Prior to starting his firm, Mr. Arzadi worked as an associate with major New York personal injury litigation firms, and was also employed with the Law Office of Benton Musslewhite where he worked on a case involving the largest personal injury settlement in United States history at the time representing veterans of the armed forces in their Agent Orange Product Liability Litigation

He has been a Trustee for the Middlesex County Bar Association, the Middlesex County Bar Foundation and a former municipal prosecutor.  In addition, he contributes and supports civic causes, such as the Unity Bicycle Run, Garden of Hope Memorial, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Perth Amboy Business Community.

Margaret Kiehne Paterson

Ms. Paterson has been a resident of Middlesex County her entire life, graduating from New Brunswick High School, and then attending and graduating with a BA in History from Rutgers College in New Brunswick. She then received a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Ms Paterson has primarily focused her legal career in the areas of personal injury and workers compensation, with additional experience in Matrimonial Law, Municipal Court, Wills and Estates and Real Estate. In Workers Compensation Court she has 20 years experience representing clients in Second Injury Trials, hearings on motions seeking Medical Benefits and medical treatment, and settlements. She has tried dozens of personal injury jury trials to verdict in the New Jersey Superior Court in the areas of automobile accidents, slip and falls and Title 59 matters.

Ms. Paterson joined this firm in March of 2014 and immediately put her experience to use effectively representing the firm’s clients in court for arbitrations, motions and handling their jury trials. She is a court appointed arbitrator of personal injury, and automobile litigation· matters and serves in said position regularly at the Middlesex County Courthouse.

Affiliations: Middlesex County Bar Association and the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers. Four years ago, Ms. Paterson was appointed to serve on the Zoning Board in the Township of East Brunswick, where at present she is the Vice Chair, and has previously served as its Secretary.

Nasim Oloomi

Nasim Oloomi is an associate at the Law Offices of Karim Arzadi and
concentrates her practice in both plaintiff’s personal injury litigation and
workers’ compensation claims.  Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Ms. Oloomi
had her own practice concentrating in the same areas of the law.  She had
also been an associate at a defense firm handling defense of workers’
compensation claims on behalf of the insured and insurance carriers for
several years prior to her own practice.

Education: Rutgers University, 1993 and Albany Law School, 1996 (Law Degree).
