Joined the firm in 2011 as an associate and has focused her practice primarily in handling plaintiff’s personal injury cases that include bicycle, bus, truck, automobile accidents, and premises liability. With extensive experience in handling negligence cases, and conducting depositions, arbitrations, Forthright PIP arbitration, NJPLIGA cases, Title 59 cases, motion practice, and litigation.

Other areas of practice include criminal defense in federal, state, municipal courts, university hearings, employment law defense, landlord-tenant, tax court, post-conviction relief, and appellate practice.

During her 24 years in practice, Michele Labrada has tried to conclusion approximately 200 adult jury trials, as well as numerous juvenile trials, municipal court trials. Brief writing filed on behalf of clients included the Superior, Appellate, Supreme Court of New Jersey, and federal district court venues.

Margaret Kiehne Paterson

A New Jersey licensed attorney who has practiced law for over 25 years. Ms. Paterson has been a resident of Middlesex County her entire life, graduating from New Brunswick High School, and then attending and graduating with a BA in History from Rutgers College in New Brunswick. She then received a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Ms Paterson has primarily focused her legal career in the areas of personal injury and workers compensation, with additional experience in Matrimonial Law, Municipal Court, Wills and Estates and Real Estate. In Workers Compensation Court she has 20 years experience representing clients in Second Injury Trials, hearings on motions seeking Medical Benefits and medical treatment, and settlements. She has tried dozens of personal injury jury trials to verdict in the New Jersey Superior Court in the areas of automobile accidents, slip and falls and Title 59 matters.

Ms. Paterson joined this firm in March of 2014 and immediately put her experience to use effectively representing the firm’s clients in court for arbitrations, motions and handling their jury trials. She is a court appointed arbitrator of personal injury, and automobile litigation· matters and serves in said position regularly at the Middlesex County Courthouse.
