Witnesses say two people were inside the station wagon, an elderly couple who are known in the small community.

The couple frequented a local restaurant that happened to be near the scene of the impact. Grace Scheffier,. who witnessed the crash, works at that restaurant.

“Regulars. They come here all the time. It makes us sad and upset,” Scheffier said.

Two passengers aboard the River LINE were taken to Cooper University Hospital; the couple in the vehicle were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. All suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
