Time is running out!!!!! Roselle, Elizabeth and other Union County and New Jersey residents who are not registered to vote have until Tuesday, October 13th, to register in time for the upcoming General Election and School Board Election on November 3rd.
Voter registration forms are available at the Office of the County Clerk in the main office in Elizabeth at 2 Broad Street and at the satellite office in Westfield at 300 North Avenue East.
Voter registration forms are also available at Roselle Park Borough Clerk’s office, located in the Roselle Park Municipal Complex, located at 110 East Westfield Avenue.
Voter registration forms must be mailed and postmarked no later than Tuesday October 13 to be eligible to vote on November 3,2015 to the following address: Union County Board of Elections (271 North Broad Street Elizabeth, NJ 07208)
A voter must be a citizen of the United States and at least 18 years old by Election Day, not serving a sentence, probation, or parole because of a felony conviction, and a resident of New Jersey and Union County for at least 30 days.
Registered voters are also encouraged to use the Vote-by-Mail process when voting. Any voter may use the service.
To vote by mail, voters can pick up an application from the Roselle Park Borough Clerk’s office, download the form at the Union County website (link), visit the County Clerk’s offices in Elizabeth or Westfield, contact the Union County Clerk at (908) 527-4996, or request an application through the Union County Votes App (link).
Applications to Vote-By-Mail must be received by the County Clerk no later than October 27th.
The deadline for in-person applications at the County Clerk’s offices is November 2nd before 3 p.m.
