Jersey City woman is lucky to be alive after two stray bullets flew over her head and lodged in a wall while she was sitting on her couch last night, The Jersey Journal reports.

The 62-year-old woman was in her Ruby Brown Terrace home at 7:25 p.m. when she heard a loud bang and her her window shattered, a police report said.

She then opened her front door and saw a group of people standing next to a black Infiniti; and they fled when they saw the woman at the door.

Police investigating the incident found two bullet holes in the wall above the couch and found that the car had two bullet holes in it.
It was initially reported to police that shots were fired on Ruby Brown Terrace, but down the block from the woman’s home.
